Concorde at Filton visitors centre - Filton Airfield

Wheelchair Access

The Concorde display at Filton is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the aircraft is up a flight of stairs, but there is a wheelchair lift. Inside the aircraft, the cabin aisle is very narrow (40.5cm), so is not wide enough for most wheelchairs. It is however possible to enter the aircraft via either door and view the cabin and cockpit, without having to go down the aisle. It is recommended that wheelchair users are accompanied.

Please note that the coach to take visitors to the Visitor Centre is accessed by some low steps, which may not be suitable for all wheelchair users and those with mobility impairments. By prior arrangement, it will be possible for those who cannot manage the steps to drive directly to the Visitors Centre. We would suggest that you contact us on 0117 936 5485 to discuss your particular requirements.
